Our process is developed with a commitment to quality. Our hot water extract uses purified water and fresh reishi fruit bodies, maintaining a consistently low temperature over 48 hours then reduced by half to increase concentration. Our alcohol extract uses certified organic 190 proof grape alcohol and dried reishi fruit bodies.

To ensure a highly concentrated, therapeutic product our extract is crafted in small batches by hand using as much material as possible while remaining fully submerged. Each extraction process uses new reishi material to ensure potency. We produce all of the mushrooms used in our extracts in Eugene, Oregon, and ensure best practices in our cultivation process by using high quality substrates consisting of organic rye, pure oak sawdust with no added oils, organic grain hulls, and purified water.

The antler shaped Rokkadu-Reishi was especially sought out by the ancient Taoists, who claimed that the mushroom greatly increase one’s head ”qi”, improving wisdom and memory. Long term consumption of Reishi is said to lighten the body and lengthen the years, lending to it’s other nicknames: “Mushroom of Immortality” and "Mannentake, The 10,000 Year Mushroom.” It is said that the power of Reishi helps develop the spirit so that one can become a spirit-being. Our Ganoderma sessile Reishi strain grows impressive antlers and is included in our proprietary blend.  

Medicinally, Reishi is a bio active powerhouse producing more than 200 polysaccharides, over 150 triterpenes, significant amounts of the amino acids alanine, leucine, aspartic acid, and gluamic acid, as well as small amounts of polyphenols, steroids, ganomycins, viamins, lectin, nucleosides, nucleotides and organic germanium. The species of reishi (ganoderma) used to make the alcohol extraction were G.lucidum, G.resinaceum, G.sessile, G.polycromum, and G.multipileum. The G.sessile clone used in this extract was wildcrafted from northern Arizona near Fossil Creek and has an increased tendency to form the coveted "antler" formation.
